Hi Dave,
I just wanted to thank you for encouraging me to attend the event on Saturday
evening. Without you calling, I would probably not have gone. It was just great
to renew old friendships and relive memories of long ago. Another thanks for all
your work, we are very lucky to have someone as dedicated as you that does all
the work to keep people in touch. There are very few that would ever do all that
you do and especially where so much is never appreciated. Thanks again and I
sure hope that you gain satisfaction from knowing that you did a wonderful job
to insure that more than 100 people had a memorable night.

A quick THANK YOU
for asking D & me to help you. What a fun evening, you and your committee did
a wonderful job!
The place was beautiful. I couldn’t believe how wonderful the room looked when
we arrived. Truly a show stopper and the arrangements were the toping on the
cake. The pom-poms could not have been a nicer touch. Brought back wonderful
memories.
The food could not have been nicer, well prepared and great presentation.
DAVID, ONCE AGAIN, YOU WERE OVER THE TOP!! You are just the BEST! At the
end, D asked John if you needed any help to pack up and he assured us you two
were OK. I do hope your committee did help you!
How nice it was working with John, I never knew him from HS, He really is quite
a nice guy. I think OUR TEAM worked very well and Bob really hustled to get
all the needed signatures. We got everyone’s picture, no problem HOWEVER,
somehow Blaine got by us. But we did have him come back for his picture.
You two are such great people and I’m very glad to call you my friends. D & I
also enjoyed working w/you the Tuesday night------------fun being w/nice people.
Have a good holiday season and DAVID, I promise class of 60 will happen after
the first of the year!

Sat. Evenings affair was an fantastic and wonderful event that
I'm sure surprised many who attended!

A huge 'Bravo!' to you, Dave!
You have done a spectacular job with the football website.
I came upon it quite by accident........Jean Wiedinmyer gave
me a site for her Jr. High reunion and I was unable to
bring it up, so I went to our NHS site hoping that it was
added
there. Instead I was pleasantly surprised!
The committee did an outstanding job in locating all the
people.
I was especially happy to get Pat Corley's address......I
tried
tracking her down after our 2005 reunion. We reconnected and
I have you to thank.......so 'thank you, Dave!'
I was saddened to learn of Jed Lippy's passing......he was
tons of
fun and always so happy-go-lucky. I couldn't help but think
of
Bill Brandt......he, too, would have enjoyed the evening.
I remember Susan Kent......I babysat her a few times. One
particular
winter afternoon babysitting at Mr. Kent's home, he told me
to keep the
kids outside for about 40-50 minutes......it was rather cold,
but he said
they needed to experience all kinds of weather to be tough.
He put them
outside and left.....in my eyes, he could do no wrong.
However, the kids
immediately rushed up to the front window, peering
in......naturally, I
opened the door and in they came. If Mr. Kent learned about their
short-lived 'exposure,' it was never mentioned to me. How I
admired
him!

Dave,
On behalf of my wife, Barbara, and myself, I want to
thank you and the banquet committee for inviting us to be part of the 1957
undefeated and untied football team's 50th anniversary celebration on November
10th.
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening's festivities
including the fine dinner. We thought the preparation and planning that went
into this event was extraordinary! I was able to talk to people that I
haven't seen in years and met some who I hadn't met before.
The two bound books, the 1957 season and the
autobiographies, were fabulous. I really enjoyed reading both of them and
will cherish them for the years to come. I am going to get in touch with
Roger Adelman to see if I can procure another set of the books to put into the
archives of the Norristown Area High School Hall of Champions Association.
You are to be commended for all of the outstanding work
that you performed to make the banquet a rousing success Dave! I wish that
you would take the time to join us at our Hall of Champions Association
monthly meeting in the high school faculty dining room from time to time. We
meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 (not in December). You could
provide us with your excellent expertise in technology that we need to move on
in the future for our association.
Finally, I want to wish you the very best for the
coming holiday season that starts this Thursday with Thanksgiving.

while, but I wanted to let you know that brother John shared your wonderful
efforts on behalf of the 1957 team.
It is
magnificent, your technical expertise and attention to detail is exemplary. I
read every bit of the write-ups

pleased to have the opportunity to do so. I wish I could have been there. I
remember the game, the goal line stand and the resulting excitement.
Roy Kent has
been the greatest male influence in my life other than my father and I suspect
that is true for many who had the good fortune to be coached by him. The
results of his great tutelage come out in reading the biographies of your
successful-in-life team.
